AUTOMOTIVE BATTERY TESTERS

ELAK Automatic chargers are designed to provide fast, safe and efficient charging to a wide variety of battery types and sizes. The electronic control circuit monitors the charging process to avoid battery damage caused by overcharging.

The charger collects information from the battery and adjusts the charge current and voltage based on this information. This allows the battery to be charged quickly, correctly, and completely when using an Automatic battery charger.

Automatic battery chargers can remain connected to the battery indefinitely and will not overcharge or damage it.

MULTI-BATTERY CHARGERS

ELAK Multi-Battery Chargers are designed for use in workshops, garages, battery service stations and retail outlets, where there is a requirement for charging a number of batteries simultaneously.

The Multi-battery chargers are available in 10 different models to charge from 2 to 12 batteries, in series. Models are available from 6 Amps to 20 Amps.

These chargers are also known as ‘taper chargers’ since charging current reduces gradually, as the battery gets charged. However they will not shut-off automatically. A voltmeter or hydrometer is required to check the battery condition periodically and switch off the charger, once the batteries are fully charged.

MOTOR-CYCLE BATTERY CHARGERS

Elak Two-Wheeler Battery Chargers are meant for charging batteries used in Motor-Cycles, Scooters, ATV’s, etc.

6 Different models are available. 2 models for manual operation and 4 for automatic operation.

The 2 models of Manual battery chargers can charge from 4 to 8 batteries, in series. The batteries under charge have to be monitored and dis-connected, once they are fully charged.

The Automatic battery chargers can charge battery independently and switch-off, once the batteries are fully charged. These chargers are specially recommended for Maintenance Free batteries which get damaged by over-charging.

Test Battery Condition in Seconds

ELAK Battery Testers are high-rate discharge testers. These testers impose a load on the battery, which is equivalent to that drawn by the starter motor from the battery, while cranking the engine.

The tester studies the drop in battery voltage & indicates the condition of the battery – if it is capable of starting the engine or not.

MOTORCYCLE BATTERY TESTERS

ELAK Motor-Cycle Battery Testers are designed for testing batteries used in motor-cycles, scooters, ATV’s, etc.

These testers check the voltage drop of the battery under a fixed load and confirm the status of the battery – full, weak or dead.

The new generation motor-cycle and scooters are fitted with an electrical start. It is therefore very essential to test these batteries under load, to ensure that the batteries are capable of starting the vehicle.
